Measuring for Inside Mount

Inside mount window treatments sit flush inside the window frame casing, showcasing your decorative moldings. They offer the cleanest appearance.

Step 1: Measure Casing Width

Measure the exact width inside the casing at 3 spots: Top, Middle, and Bottom. Record the smallest width. Note: We subtract 0.25 inches from this width for operating clearance.

Step 2: Measure Casing Height

Measure the exact height inside the casing at 3 spots: Left, Middle, and Right. Record the largest height.

Step 3: Verify Casing Depth

Measure the depth of your recess. A minimum casing depth of 4 inches is required for a clean inside mount installation.

šŸ“ General Measuring Rules
Always use a heavy metal/steel tape measure. Never use a flexible fabric tape ruler.
Measure down to the nearest 1/8th of an inch. Do not round up or down to whole inches.
Write down dimensions as Width x Height (W x H) to avoid ordering inverted blinds.
